Policies
To ensure the most positive experience for your pet and our team please take a moment to review these important policies:
Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Two consecutive cancellations my result in a 50% fee of the total groom cost. Two no call/no show appointments may result in a permanent ban from booking future services.
Drop Off/Pick Up Policy
Pets may be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time unless prior arrangements have been made. Once services are nearing completion, a 15-minute heads up notification will be provided. After you are notified that grooming is complete, there is a 30-minute grace period for pick-up. Pets not picked up within 30 minutes of completion will incur a $15 late pick up fee for every additional 30 minutes.
Aggressive/Difficult Pet Policy
Our groomers are professionally certified and trained to handle diffifcult or aggressive pets. However, if a pet becomes overly stressed, aggressive, or dangerous to themselves or others, the groomer reserves the right to stop the grooming service immediately for safety reasons. A difficult pet fee may be applied and varies based on the level of difficulty and handling required.
Senior Pet Policy
Our groomers are certified in geriatric grooming and tailor services to each senior dog's comfort, ability, and tolerance. Grooming standards may be adjusted or lowered as needed to prioritize safety and well-being.
Matted Pet Policy
Pets with severe matting or pelting will be humanely shaved unless deemed too severe, in which case the pet will be referred to a veterinarian for sedated removal. For mild to moderate matting, options will be discussed, including brushing out matting or removal with a clipper. All dematting services incur additional fees, being billed at $1 per minutes, with clipper removal being the quicker option. A matted pet waiver will also need to be signed prior to the start of services.
Flea and Tick Policy
Pets found to have fleas will immediately reveive a flea preventative bath, and a $15 flea treatment fee will be added. Owners will be notified immediately.
Tick removal will be performed up to 10 ticks only. Removing more than 10-12 ticks at once may cause adverse reactions and will require veterinary care. A $10 tick removal fee applies when tick removal is performed up to the 10-tick limit.
